Our products and services are branded under the Skillbanc AI family — for example Skillbanc AI : Home Owner — and this policy applies to all of them, including products released after the date above.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use any of our mobile applications, web applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). If a product later spins off into its own company, that product will publish its own privacy policy and we will note the change here.

Some products in the Skillbanc AI family are directed to children under the supervision of a parent or guardian; others (such as Skillbanc AI : Home Owner) are intended for adults. For any product directed to children, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, and account registration is intended to be completed by a parent or guardian. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from within our mobile application, or by contacting contact@skillbanc.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
What deletion removes. Your profile and the data you created in the Service are permanently deleted. For Skillbanc AI : Home Owner this includes your homes, rooms, appliances and systems, the photographs you uploaded, your notes, maintenance records and reminders, and your notification history. Your sign-in credentials are deleted, so the account can no longer be used. This is deletion, not deactivation. Once you confirm, it cannot be undone and we cannot restore your account or its contents.
A short protected archive, and why it exists. For 30 days after a deletion we keep a protected archive of the deletion itself. Its only purpose is to protect other customers: if a fault in our process removed a record that did not belong to the person who asked to be deleted, the archive lets us put that record back. It is not an undo. We will not restore your account from it, and it is not available to you or to our staff for any other purpose. After 30 days it is destroyed automatically, and the encryption key for it is destroyed with it.
What we must keep, and why. Deleting your account does not delete records we are legally required to retain. Tax and accounting law obliges us to keep invoices and payment records, and an invoice must by law identify the customer it was issued to. These records therefore continue to contain your name, billing details and the transactions themselves, and we keep them for the period the law requires:
Where more than one of these applies to a transaction, we keep the record for the longest applicable period. Once that period ends, the record is deleted.
How retained records are used. Records kept under this section are used only for accounting, tax, audit and the establishment or defence of legal claims. They are not used for marketing, analytics, product development, or to contact you, and we do not use them to rebuild a profile or to recognise you if you return.
Proof that you asked. When an account is deleted we keep a dated record that the deletion took place, identified by an irreversible cryptographic hash rather than by your email address. This lets us confirm that a deletion request was honoured if it is ever questioned, without keeping a profile of you.
Anonymous statistics. We may keep aggregate statistics that cannot identify you or single you out — for example, the number of homes recording a particular category of appliance. This information contains no identifier linking it to any person and is not personal data.
